Our Story

Like many other successful ideas, owayo was born in a pub over a few beers. At that time, three athletes scribbled the concept on a now legendary beer mat, which was to offer customers many benefits such as individuality, quality and speed of production, all while focusing on having the manufacturing done in Germany/Europe. Today, with over 100 employees, we are delighted to have many satisified customers.

owayo produces high-quality customizable sportswear in Germany and Europe and finishes other items purchased from all over the world.

Our aim is to offer you the highest possible quality, the shortest possible delivery times and the best possible service.

About Us

Founded in 2001, owayo was conceived during a night at the pub. Fifteen years later, we are completing orders for customers in 167 countries. The business that initially started as a 3 man venture, now encompasses an operational area of 14.000 sqm. All employees are active athletes, incorporating their multifaceted experiences every day on the job.

Our Sports Culture

Driven by the enthusiasm of sports, our employees have established multiple different sports teams to allow employees to pursue their passions for hockey, soccer, cycling and running. Our owayo sport groups are especially beneficial for product development. Our avid athletes work closely with our R&D department - offering valuable feedback to ensure our products meet the demands of athletes doing what they love.
